Earthquake in Chile

There was a magnitude 8.8 earthquake in Chile. The earthquake moved the city of Concepcion about 10 feet to the west. It also moved the capital, Santiago, about 11 inches west-southwest. This earthquake shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. The reason that the day shortened is because the distribution changed. That changes the rate of the planet rotation. That quake shifts a great amount of rocks and destruction. Scientists believe that after earthquake there will be many opportunities for valuable information. It killed more than hundred people, nobody knows when the earthquake will happen again.
